About This Camp

Camp Invention offers an exciting STEM-focused summer experience designed to spark curiosity and build confidence in young innovators. This nationally recognized program features hands-on challenges across four key areas: Innovation (entrepreneurship and ocean science exploration), Creativity (space mission planning and exoplanet development), Problem Solving (working alongside Innovation Force superhero inventors), and Persistence (mystery-solving adventures with robotic capybaras). The program serves children entering grades K-6 in the main camp experience, while also offering a Leaders-in-Training opportunity for older students in grades 7-9. Located at Poplin Elementary School in Indian Trail, NC, this intensive 5-day program runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily, providing a full day of engaging STEM learning. Campers will participate in prototype development, invention challenges, and hands-on experiments that encourage creative problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking.
