The camp employs a multi-sensory learning approach through three distinct activity zones: the “brain zone” for learning-focused activities, the “hand zone” for hands-on exploration, and the “play zone” for play-based learning. Activities range from food and cuisine exploration to geography lessons, storytelling, interactive classroom learning, and destination-specific experiences like exploring the Everglades, visiting virtual theme parks, learning about the Alamo, and discovering Yellowstone. The program also includes homework help for school-age participants and virtual learning support. Operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Cadence Academy prioritizes safety and quality care with enhanced health protocols and small group sizes. The facility is a four-star accredited preschool and childcare center that has been serving the Lake Norman community since 2001, staffed with certified educators and maintaining low student-to-teacher ratios.
