YMCA Camp Thunderbird is a premier 100-acre waterfront camp located 17 miles south of Charlotte on Lake Wylie, operating since 1936. The camp also features a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program for rising high school juniors, providing leadership development and mentoring opportunities.
