The camp makes an iconic summer camp experience available to children whose challenges may prevent participation in traditional camp settings, offering love, acceptance, and fun through small and large group formats with fully adapted activities. All camp instruction is tailored to individual needs, ensuring every camper can participate meaningfully and safely.
The camp features eight weekly themed sessions throughout the summer (June-August 2025), including Super Hero Week, Water Wonders, Space Expedition, Global Explorers, Light Camera Action, Rainforest Week, The Great Outdoors, and Boot Scootin’ Boogie Bash. The program offers multiple camp options to meet different needs and budgets: Camp Trusted Parents (the flagship program), Camp Explore (a companion program with lunch included except on field trips), and Camp in a Box (a lower-cost option currently not being offered). Each program is designed to foster new friendships, spark imaginations, and develop independence while teaching new skills in a safe, supportive, and accessible environment with specially trained staff.
The camp emphasizes community recreation rather than behavior therapy, focusing on social interaction, team building, and personal growth. With limited camp sizes to ensure quality care and attention, the program has maintained an excellent safety record with no outbreaks of COVID, FLU, or RSV in the last three summers. Parents are encouraged to be active partners in their child’s camp experience through orientation meetings, photo galleries, and ongoing communication.
