Creative Kids

Creative Kids is a comprehensive Christian-based childcare and summer camp organization with three specialized locations across the Charlotte area (Lake Wylie, Fort Mill, and Hands Mill). The program serves children from 6 weeks through 5 years old with age-appropriate curricula including Funshine Express for younger children and Abeka for Pre-K. Creative Kids offers full-day care from 6:30am-6:00pm during summer months, combining structured educational programming with enrichment activities in Creative Kids is a comprehensive Christian-based childcare and summer camp organization with three specialized locations across the Charlotte area (Lake Wylie, Fort Mill, and Hands Mill). Creative Kids offers full-day care from 6:30am-6:00pm during summer months, combining structured educational programming with enrichment activities in art, science, music, theater, and physical education. The summer camp experience is enhanced by specialty programs including the N Zone Sports Program led by former NFL player Coach Ko Simpson, which rotates through soccer, basketball, and flag football with an emphasis on character building and sportsmanship. The Dance and Tumbling Program, led by certified instructor Stacey Wilson with 30+ years of experience, culminates in an end-of-program recital for parents. All programs incorporate Christian values through Chapel and Bible study activities, creating a faith-based learning environment. The Lake Wylie location features an exceptional 4-acre Creative Play Yard with state-of-the-art facilities including a Creative Café, Nature Preschool Classroom, outdoor gym, butterfly garden, amphitheater, raised garden beds, themed cottages, climbing walls, and construction zones. The after-school program (2:00pm-6:00pm) includes homework assistance, snack time, group activities, and rotating enrichment classes. Creative Kids combines traditional childcare with educational enrichment, STEAM-based learning, field trips to museums and trampoline parks, and hands-on experiences that foster creativity and development.
