The programs feature a vibrant mix of project themes and professional-grade art materials, allowing children to explore age-appropriate techniques in both mixed media art and pottery.
The camp offers flexible scheduling options including half-day programs (3 hours) focusing on either mixed media art or pottery, as well as full-day combination camps (7 hours) that include both disciplines plus lunch supervision. What sets this program apart is its comprehensive approach – from hands-on pottery wheel work and sculpture to advanced techniques like batik painting, printmaking, and papier-mâché. For older students, the Teen Summer Apprentice Program provides a unique opportunity to develop professional skills, mentor younger campers, and gain real-world studio experience while building portfolios and preparing for gallery shows. All campers’ work is carefully cataloged to ensure returning students always have fresh, challenging projects to explore.
